You will find that accessing the network drives requires you to either be at the office or have a VPN connection. This brief article will go over the basics of setting up a VPN connection and you will find that it is quite simple.

Step 1: Choose the  (from top menu bar)  > System Preferences, and then click Network.

Step 2: Click Add (+) at the bottom of the network connection services list.

Step 3: choose VPN from the Interface pop-up menu and PPTP from VPN Type and give the VPN service a name.

Step 4: Enter the server address and the account name (Your Flogistix username) for the VPN connection.

Step 5: Click Authentication Settings, and then enter in your password. It should be the same one you use for intranet, email, and your computer.

Step 6: After entering in the password, click OK, then click connect.

Select “Show VPN status in menu bar” to use the VPN status icon to connect to the network and switch between VPN services.

To remove the VPN configuration, select the VPN network connection service in the list and click Delete (-).

That should be it! I hope this article has been informative to you. If you have any issues connecting please create a ticket via support.flogistix.com or emailing [email protected]. If it's an emergency or needs to be taken care of ASAP call 405-536-0015.
