You will find that accessing the network drives requires you to either be at the office or have a VPN connection. This brief article will go over the basics of setting up a VPN connection and you will find that it is quite simple.
Step 1: Click on the start button and search for VPN. The first result should be "Set up a virtual private network (VPN) connection." Select that option.
Step 2: Once there, type in the Internet address -- vpn.flogistix.com -- and the destination name you want to name that connection (any will do). Then click next.
Step 3: On this page you will put in the username and password you use to log on to your account at the office. For domain put FLOGISTIX in caps. Be sure to tick "Remember this password" so you only have to enter it once.
Step 4: Confirm your VPN connection is up. If you ever have issues connecting to the network drives select the WiFi icon at the bottom right and click the VPN connection you created. From here you can click connect if necessary.
